I had a lot of adversity in my younger years, for which I had various therapeutic help, and it was the realisation of how powerful talking therapies can be, that made me want to become a counsellor and help others as I was helped myself.

I have worked with clients with difficulties with homelessness., BPD, depression, anxiety, low mood, relationships, mood disorders and work issues.
Mindfulness helps us to be more 'in the moment', living life more fully and appreciating the five senses, Sight, Sound, Taste, Smell and Touch.
Looking in to the past, particularly at childhood, to find out where we picked up habits, core beliefs and attachment/relationship styles.
Life Writing and Journalling can help us to delve deeper into our thoughts and feelings and work on specific things. It can also be done at home, which is an excellent way to continue working on yourself.
Looking at thought processes and how our thoughts affect our actions, behaviours and feelings. Working with coping mechanisms and exploring our thoughts and any evidence behind them.
The first step in therapy is talking. Let's find a time where we can talk on the phone about what's on your mind.
The therapeutic relationship is key to making the most of counselling. Get in touch today and we can discuss your needs and what I can offer you...
